Thames Valley Copiers was founded in 1988 as a Ricoh copier dealer. It set out to provide an alternative, more personal approach to the copier business with honest salesmen. This was hard to find, some might say, in those days and even now in some cases.
With continued growth and success, the business has moved 4 times. Each move was to increase the space we had, especially in the workshop. We are now located on the Abingdon Business Park on Barton Lane. We moved on 14th February 2018 and have a perfect building with the workshop downstairs and offices upstairs.
TVC also took on a 2nd brand in the name of Develop and continued to provide good, friendly service in the Thames Valley area.

Develop is a brand of Konica Minolta Business Solutions and stands for professional, state of the art office communication solutions. Develop market systems, software and services to meet the document production and management needs of start up and small to medium sized businesses whilst delivering exceptional colour print quality and reliability.
Nuance have many solutions available. However, we have found the document imaging solutions to be vital in keeping organization’s information private. Scanning in particular can cause problems with compliance but Nuance has OmniPage Capture that allows particular sensitive words/data to be removed from documents that are being scanned, minimizing the risk.
Papercut MF is the easy way to automatically monitor and manage copying and printing, giving you control over your costs and environmental impact. It checks print jobs on the print server and analyzes them, applying rules to enforce your print policies. Secure print ensures users have to release print jobs rather than unclaimed print outs being left on the device.
Thames Valley Copiers was founded in February of 1988. It was a Ricoh copier dealer and started life in one of the partners houses to keep costs down . It was a big risk to set up the business because of all the start up overheads but after a short while the company started to perform and so TVC moved to a shared premises in Appleton.
The team and customer base continued to grow, we were starting to win repeat business and become known in the area.
In 1998 we needed more space as the business had grown so significantly and so we purchased new premises in Wootton, just outside of Abingdon. This unit was approximately 1000 sq ft of mixed storage and office space. It was a great base considering where our customers were located. In the time at Wootton we also took on the Develop range of machines. Their reliability and colour quality impressed us and we have continued to work with them since.
TVC continued to expand, and were bursting at the seams of the premises in Wootton and so in February of 2018 we moved to our current premises on the Barton Lane Business Park. We now have twice the space and can perform so much more efficiently.
