In the event of a service request our intention is to get an experienced engineer on site as rapidly as possible to rectify the fault first time minimising machine downtime.
Thames Valley Copiers have an excellent service reputation. We directly employ our own team of manufacturer trained engineers to provide local coverage to Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Wiltshire. Each of our service engineers has over 20 years individual experience. Our engineers carry a large car stock of commonly used spares backed up by an extensive range of spares and consumables stocked at our local office. In addition we are able to provide coverage anywhere in the UK via our manufacturers team of engineers.
Service response times are critical - when your machine malfunctions we appreciate that your business suffers. Thames Valley Copiers closely monitor all logged service calls and our response times. Over 97% of our service calls are actioned within four working hours with a high percentage receiving a service visit within two working hours! We achieve this by deliberately employing spare service capacity - not the least expensive solution but the best solution for our valued customers.
Service is normally provided to the customers premises on a wholly inclusive metered "cost per print" service agreement. This arrangement provides for peace of mind and easy budgeting as it covers all parts, toner, preventative maintenance, call out and on site labour charges. This means that both we and our customers have a common aim - both parties want your machine to be as reliable as possible. The more reliable the product we supply you with the more profitable we are. Conversely if your machine is unreliable for any reason then we're not profitable which means that we have a strong incentive to resolve your problems!
The range that we specialise in is Ricoh products and their derivatives. This includes the Infotec, Nashuatec, Rex Rotary, Gestetner and Lanier brands (which are all wholly owned subsidiaries of Ricoh).
